EA Series HMI
Overview
The Samkoon EA Series HMI operates on a non-OS, micro-kernel architecture, eliminating system overhead, OS-level runtime freezing, and software update dependencies. Designed specifically for reliable operation in small-to-medium factory automation deployments, the series features dedicated hardware control to ensure instant boot times, deterministic task rendering, and a stable interface for downstream programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

Non-OS Architecture & High Reliability
Operating entirely without a heavy general-purpose operating system, the EA Series relies on a dedicated micro-kernel. This hardware-level execution eliminates the risk of OS crashes, memory leaks, and runtime lag, delivering persistent uptime under continuous industrial operation.
Multi-Protocol Serial Connectivity
Every EA series model integrates a built-in multi-mode COM port configuration. The single interface natively houses RS232, RS422, and RS485 communication protocols, allowing direct wiring and data exchange with global PLC brands without external converters.
Industrial Hardware & Environmental Resistance
Built upon an ARM9 300MHz or Cortex A7 hardware platform, the series utilizes an ABS+PC engineering plastic enclosure. The front panel achieves an IP65 protection rating, securing resistance against high vibrations, dust ingress, and electrical noise on the shop floor.
Configuration via SATOOL
System configuration, trend chart logging, and interface compilation are managed through the lightweight SATOOL software platform. The system supports direct project transfers and updates via a standard USB download port, minimizing onsite maintenance setup times.
