Overview
Traditional automation setups require a standalone HMI panel, a separate PLC controller, inter-unit communication cabling, and multi-software software workflows. The Samkoon GX Series collapses this architecture into a unified, panel-mount system—mounting into a single standard cutout while connecting screen memory directly to PLC registers via an internal backplane bus. Powered by an integrated hardware core with 4-axis 200kHz high-speed pulse output, onboard analog I/O, and slot-in expansion (supporting up to 16 digital I/O, 8 analog channels, or 8 temperature inputs), the GX Series delivers complete machinery control in one compact housing. With optional 4G/Wi-Fi telemetry and a unified development environment—embedding the SamSoar PLC engine directly inside SKTOOL—machine builders can eliminate communication lags, cut panel cabling labor, and streamline engineering setup.

Single-Panel Cutout. Zero External Communication Cabling.
Installing a separate HMI and PLC consumes double the front panel space and requires internal RS232/RS485 data cabling between units. The GX Series mounts into a single standard cutout ( for 4.3″ or for 7″). Internal bus architecture connects the display memory directly to the PLC registers, eliminating communication lags, ground loops, and signal dropouts.
Integrated Dual Serial, Ethernet, & Optional 4G/Wi-Fi Telemetry
Connect field drives, sensors, and upper-level SCADA without adding communication cards. Every GX model features independent RS485 serial ports, a Type-C high-speed programming interface, and USB host capabilities for barcode scanners and data logging. Optional “-G” models add integrated Ethernet (RJ45), Wi-Fi, or cellular 4G telemetry for secure remote PLC program uploads, HMI screen mirroring, and cloud MQTT data logging.
Flexible Field Expansion: Up to 16 Digital I/O, 8 Analog, OR 8 Temperature Channels
Adapt your control hardware to specific field requirements without changing the host unit. The GX Series provides native expansion slots that support up to 16 digital I/O channels, up to 8 analog I/O channels, or up to 8 dedicated temperature inputs (compatible with both Thermocouple and PT100 sensors). For remote telemetry, selected models can also be equipped with plug-and-play 4G or Wi-Fi IoT expansion cards, offering flexible hardware customization for diverse machinery applications.
Truly Unified Software: Built-in SamSoar PLC Engine Inside SKTool
Say goodbye to running multiple software packages and exporting tag databases. The GX Series utilizes SKTOOL, which natively embeds the SamSoar PLC programming engine directly into its workspace. Engineers can draft HMI screens and write PLC ladder logic simultaneously within a single project file. Internal registers automatically sync across display graphics and control logic in real time—eliminating tag mapping errors and cutting programming hours in half.
