Overview
Traditional automation panel layouts force machine builders to mount a standalone HMI, fit a separate PLC onto a DIN rail, and run external communication cables between them. The Samkoon GT Series replaces this dual-unit footprint with a single, streamlined enclosure that mounts directly into a standard panel cutout (141 x 84 mm or 192 x 138 mm. By routing display registers directly to the PLC execution engine via internal backplane architecture, the GT Series eliminates inter-unit communication lags, ground loops, and signal dropouts. Featuring up to 200 kHz high-speed pulse outputs, onboard analog/temperature options, plug-in card expansion (up to 16 digital I/O, 8 analog channels, or 8 TC/PT100 inputs), and native 4G/Wi-Fi cloud connectivity, the GT Series reduces cabinet depth, cuts wiring labor, and simplifies panel sourcing.

Single Panel Cutout. Reclaim 50% Control Cabinet Depth
Installing a separate HMI and PLC consumes double the front panel real estate and requires internal RS232/RS485 data cabling between units. The GT Series mounts into a single standard cutout ( for 4.3″ or for 7″). Internal bus architecture connects display memory directly to the PLC execution engine, eliminating external communication cables, baud rate mismatch errors, and wiring labor.
Versatile Communication: Onboard Serial, Ethernet, & Plug-and-Play 4G/Wi-Fi Telemetry
Connect field drives, sensors, and upper-level SCADA platforms without adding communication expansion cards. GT Series models feature independent RS485 serial ports, a Type-C high-speed programming port, USB Host support for U-disk configuration updates and data logging, and built-in Ethernet (RJ45) on 7.0-inch models. “-G” series models add native IoT cloud capabilities, supporting optional plug-and-play Wi-Fi or cellular 4G expansion modules for remote program upload/download, HMI screen mirroring, and MQTT cloud data logging.
Flexible Slot-in Expansion: Up to 16 Digital I/O, 8 Analog, OR 8 Temperature Channels
Adapt hardware IO configurations to your exact machine requirements without altering the host controller. The GT Series features native backplane expansion slots that accommodate up to 16 digital I/O channels, up to 8 analog I/O channels, or up to 8 dedicated temperature inputs (supporting both Thermocouple and PT100 RTD sensors). For cloud monitoring, models can also accept plug-and-play 4G or Wi-Fi IoT expansion cards.
Single-Software Workflow: Built-in SamSoar PLC Engine Inside SKTool
Eliminate the hassle of running dual software programs and managing exported tag tables. The GT Series is configured entirely within SKTOOL, which natively embeds the SamSoar PLC programming engine directly into its workspace. Engineers can draft HMI screens and write PLC ladder logic in a single project file. Internal registers () synchronize automatically in real time, cutting programming hours in half.
